HyTest’s recombinant SARS-CoV-2 Spike RBD is now available. The antigen can be used in the development of COVID-19 serology (antibody) tests.

SARS-CoV-2 Spike RBD is a fragment Arg319-Phe541 of the spike surface glycoprotein and it contains the receptor binding domain of the virus. The protein contains a C-terminal His6-tag. It has been produced in mammalian cells and its purity is over 95%. It is provided as lyophilized.

In addition, we provide monoclonal antibodies specific to different Ig classes: IgM, IgG and IgA. These can be used as secondary antibodies in serology assays.
