What products include in HyTest product portfolio?

Please notice that we do not offer any kits or assays! Please check our general catalog from here. General Product Catalog

How are the antibodies sold?

We are selling our antibodies by milligram and not by volume.

How much product cost?

Prices vary across our product range, please contact us to address hytest@hytest.fi and give the Cat# and quantity of the item you’d like to get a quote. Notice that if you create an account for our online store, you will always be able to see the prices of products when you log in to there.

How long prices are valid?

What information I should include in my order?

You should include catalog number, product name and the amount you wish to order. If you are ordering monoclonal antibodies you should also include the MAb name. Also, we need your shipping address, invoice address, contact person name and phone number, your PO# if you need to use it and VAT number for customers inside the EU.

How can I order HyTest products?

You can place your order directly to us by e-mail to order@hytest.fi.
You can also login or register to our online store. After your online store account has been verified, you can log in and always see the prices from the website. You can also easily order products from the online store. 

How to receive a proforma invoice?

Please request a proforma invoice by sending e-mail to order@hytest.fi.

How can I pay to HyTest?

We accept wire transfer and credit card as methods of payment. We send you the invoice by e-mail the same day when we are shipping the goods. From the invoice, you will see all the necessary info concerning payment process.

How to pay with a credit card?

The most secure for you is using our Online Store and pay through that system. Log in here and see other online store FAQs.

If for some reason you are not able to order through our Online Store contact us by sending e-mail to hytest@hytest.fi and we will give you further instructions for credit card payment.

Please notice that we can make credit card payments only in Euros, not in dollars. Because your credit card will be charged in Euros, the total sum will not be exactly the same as stated in the invoice because the rate of the dollar against Euro changes daily.

What are the payment terms?

Terms of sale are net 30 days of the date of invoice unless otherwise stated. Prepayment will be required from the new customers.

How to receive MSDS?

Our products are not dangerous or hazardous and MSDS is therefore not required.  If the product contains any harmful ingredients, it is described in the data sheet section "Material safety note". But if you still need the MSDS please send us an e-mail and our customer service will provide that to you.

Can you supply your products to me even if there is not a distributor in my country?

Yes, we can. We sell directly to most countries and you can place your order directly to us by e-mail to order@hytest.fi.

How do I know that HyTest has received my order?

After receiving the order, we send you an order confirmation within 2 working days. If you do not get it please contact us again to make sure that we have received your order.

What is HyTest VAT number?

HyTest VAT number is FI09565382.



Product Support Material

Can I get an MSDS for the product I am interested in?

We don't have separate material safety data sheets (MSDS) for our products. If a product contains any harmful ingredients, it is described in the product data sheet section "Material safety note". All our product data sheets can be found on our website.

I am not able to open your catalogs. They seem to be opening in some special program. Do I need to install it on my computer?

You do not need to install any programs to your computer. Try opening the pdf-versions which can also be found from our website.

I was not able to find an answer from your website, what should I do?

You can contact our Product Support by sending e-mail to support@hytest.fi. They will be happy to help you with any product related questions.

Your General Product Catalog only lists the products. Where can I find more information about the products?

We have a product data sheet with more information for all of our products. They can be found on our website. From our website, you can also find catalogs ( HyTest product catalogs) and TechNotes which contain a lot of useful information about the products.



Purification and Concentrations

How are HyTest antibodies purified?

Most of our antibodies are purified by chromatography on protein G or protein A sepharose. The antibody specific information can be found from the product data sheet.

What is the concentration of my product?

The concentration of the products varies from lot to lot. The lot specific concentration is written in the vial label and in the lot specific data sheet which is shipped with each product.

What is the purity of HyTest antibodies?

All our monoclonal antibodies have a purity of 92% or more.

What is the purity of HyTest antigens? A: The minimum purity depends on the product, but generally the purity of the antigens is >90% or >95%. The antigen-specific information can be found easily for example from our General Product Catalog.



Conjugated Antibodies

Do you have conjugated antibodies available?

Unfortunately, we are not providing conjugated antibodies. If you have further questions just contact our customer service: hytest(at)hytest.fi.



Special Products

Most of your antibodies are provided in a buffer with sodium azide, is it possible to get them without it?

In a theory, it could be possible to send the antibody without sodium azide, but we really do not recommend that. If we leave sodium azide out we will not take any responsibility for the product after it leaves our premises and we are not giving any expiry date for such products. Also, the price will be higher and lead time longer. Since it takes only a simple dialysis step to get rid of the sodium azide we really recommend our customers to do that step just before they start their work.



Storage and Expiry dates

How should I store HyTest antibodies?

For unconjugated antibodies, the storage temperature is always +4ºC but for some conjugated antibodies, it could be -20ºC. We recommend always storing our antibodies as directed on the datasheet. We are unable to guarantee how the antibody will perform if not stored as stated on the datasheet.

How should I store HyTest antigens?

The recommended storage temperatures can be found from the product data sheet. Please follow these recommendations since we are not able to guarantee how the product will perform if not stored as stated on the datasheet.

What is the expiry date of my antibody?

The expiry date for unconjugated antibodies is 2 years from the date of manufacture and for conjugated antibodies, it is 9 months from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is written in the lot specific data sheet which is shipped together with the product. At the time of shipment to you, antibodies will have at least 6 months until the expiry date.

What is the expiry date of my antigen?

The expiry date for our antigens is normally either 1 or 2 years from the date of manufacture. The expiry date is written in the lot specific data sheet which is shipped together with the product. At the time of shipment to you, antigens will have at least 6 months until the expiry date.

Yes, we have a fully functioning online store. You can get the valid prices and make your order using invoice or credit card. After you have created your online store account, you can always get the prices, order online and check/reuse your old orders. You can create your account here.

What does a sample mean and what does this word mean on HyTest’s website?

The sample opportunity means, in general, a discounted price on the product. Please note the usual shipping and handling costs will still apply.

The sample opportunity is a one-time evaluation possibility and please also note that feedback about the evaluation results is expected from you.

The word “sample” does not mean that the product is free of charge.  

HyTest’s sample opportunity is only available to end users which means institutes and universities are not included in this promotion.
