We are proud to sponsor the EFLM Cardiac Marker Award, which recognizes remarkable scientific work in the field of cardiovascular diseases. This award, presented by the European Federation of Laboratory Medicine (EFLM), honors the best original research paper on cardiac marker measurements and cardiovascular risk assessment.
The winner will receive a certificate and €5,000, presented at the 26th IFCC-EFLM EuroMedLab Congress in Brussels (18–22 May 2025). Applications are open to young scientists under 40 years of age (as of 1 January 2025) who are first authors of the paper.
Key Details:
Eligibility: Papers published or accepted between 1 January 2024 and 19 January 2025 in peer-reviewed journals.
Submission Deadline: 19 January 2025.
Requirements: Applicants must be members of an EFLM Full Member National Society/Association and provide supporting documents, including a bio sketch, proof of age, and signed consent from all authors.
