Source:
Human heart tissue.
Blood sample from the tissue donor was tested and found negative for HBsAg, HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies, HCV, and syphilis.

Applications:
TnT is suitable for use as a standard in immunoassay for early detection of acute myocardial infarction, immunogen for antisera production, mass cTnT standard, and tracer for iodination.

Analysis:
Purity > 98 % (SDS-PAGE).
Immunological identity confirmed by reaction with monoclonal antibody that is specific for the TnT cardiac isoform.

Presentation:
Freeze-dried from 0.01 M HCl.
Product is recommended to reconstitute with urea/Tris buffer, pH 7.5 (7 M urea, 5 mM EDTA, 15 mM mercaptoethanol, 20 mM Tris).

Storage:
- 20 °C (- 70 °C for long term storage)
