Human skeletal muscle troponin I (skTnI)

Source:
Human skeletal muscle.
Blood sample from the tissue donor was tested and found negative for HBsAg, HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies, HCV, and syphilis.
Applications:
Negative control for cardiac TnI specific antibodies, immunogen for antibody production, calibrator and standard preparation, troponin biochemical and immunochemical studies.
Analysis:
Purity more than 95 % (SDS-PAGE).
Protein content determined by the Lowry procedure.
Immunological identity confirmed by reaction with monoclonal antibody that is specific for the TnI skeletal muscle isoform.
Presentation:
Freeze-dried from 0.01 M HCl.
Product is recommended to reconstitute with urea/Tris buffer, pH 7.5 (7 M urea, 5 mM EDTA, 15 mM mercapthoethanol, 20 mM Tris).
Solubility is limited at neutral pH and physiological salt concentration.
Storage:
- 20 °C (- 70 °C for long term storage)
