Human brain tissue. Blood sample from the tissue donors was tested and found negative for HBsAg, HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies, HCV, and syphilis.

Applications:
One of the minor neuronal gangliosides. Demonstrates high-affinity binding with amyloid beta-protein, useful as one of the markers of Alzheimer disease.

Analysis:
Purity more than 98 % by HPTLC. MW 2085

Presentation:
Lyophilized from water solution.

Storage:
-20 °C in lyophilized form.
After reconstitution the solution should be stored at -20 °C.
