Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with thyroglobulin from human thyroid gland.

Specificity:
MAbs specifically recognize human thyroglobulin and do not interfere with anti-thyroglobulin autoantibodies. MAb 5F9 cross-reacts with bovine thyroglobulin. MAb 12G9 cross-reacts with bovine, pig, cat, rat, dog and mouse thyroglobulins.

MAb isotypes:
IgG2a for MAbs 5F9
IgG2b for MAb 5E6
IgM for MAb 12G9

Applications:
Detection of human thyroglobulin in two-site enzyme immunoassay.
Recommended pair for sandwich ELISA (coating – conjugate): 5F9 – 5E6
