Monoclonal mouse anti-Streptavidin from
Streptomyces avidinii

Cat.# 3ST10

MAbs:
S8E4, S8C12, S10D4, S3E11

Specificity:
No cross-reactivity with egg white avidin. Affinity (Kd) > 1 x 108  for all MAbs. MAbs bind with high efficiency with different epitopes of streptavidin molecule. MAb S8C12 reacts with the determinant nonoverlapping with S8E4-, S10D4- and S3E11-epitopes. All MAbs bind to the streptavidin without interfering with the biotin-binding reaction.

MAb isotypes:
IgG1, kappa for all MAbs

Applications:
MAbs can be used to localize streptavidin, to amplify signals in immunochemistry, immunohistochemistry, ELISA, flow cytometry and immunoblotting. These mouse anti-streptavidin MAbs applied to the ABC complex, previously bound to the second antibody system allow for further enhancement of signal when anti-mouse antibody conjugate is added. MAbs are effective in immunoadsorbtion procedures of streptavidin - biotinylated protein complexes.

Purification:
Chromatography on protein A Sepharose

Presentation:
PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1 % sodium azide (NaN3)
