Hybridoma clone has been derived from hybridization of 653A myeloma cells (derivate of X63Ag8.653) with spleen cells of SJL/J mice immunized with secretory component purified from human colostrum.

Specificity: 
MAbs 5D8, 2A11 and 5A12 are specific for constantly expressed epitopes of secretory component. They react both with free and IgA-associated secretory component. MAb 5D8 binds a conformational epitope and MAbs 2A11 and 5A12 are directed against sequential epitopes.

IgG for MAbs 5D8, 2A11, 5A12

Applications:
MAb 5D8 and 2A11 are working in EIA.
Recommended pair for sandwich ELISA (coating – conjugate):
2A11 – 5D8
MAb 2A11 is working in Western blotting and immunopurification.
MAb 5A12 is working in immunohistochemistry
