Source:
Allantoic fluid of 10 days old embryonated eggs, inoculated with parainfluenza 1 virus, strain Sendai.

Purification:
Ultracentrifugation with 20 - 60 % sucrose gradient.

Presentation:
STE, 0.02 % sodium azide (NaN3).

Inactivation:
Thimerosal
This product has been treated in a manner consistent with methods of inactivation. Generally accepted good laboratory practices appropriate to microbiological/viral safe handling practices and techniques are required at work.

Analysis:
Purity > 90 %

Application:
Serological studies of parainfluenza virus, immunogen for antibody production.

Storage:
- 20 ^oC

Material safety note:
Contains sodium azide (0.02 %) as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.
