Monoclonal mouse anti-human free lambda light chains

Hybridoma clone has been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunised with mixture of light chains of human immunoglobulin.
Specificity:
Specific for independent constantly expressed epitope of lambda chain.
Reacts with monomer and dimer forms of free lambda chains but not with lambda chain-bearing immunoglobulins.
Specific antibody titer is 1/100 000 by indirect ELISA.
MAb isotypes:
IgG2a for MAb 3D12
Applications:
Detection of lambda Bence-Jones proteins in ELISA. MAb 3D12 can be used for coating and as conjugate.
MAb 3D12 can be used for immunoaffinity purification of light chains.
MAb 3D12 works in immunoblotting.
