Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunised with human IgG2 from myeloma patient serum.

Specificity:
MAb 52G1 specific to gamma-2 epitope inside Fc fragment of human IgG2, Fc-region specific. MAb 3C7 is hinge region specific.
No cross-reaction with human IgG1, IgG3, IgG4, IgA, IgM and IgE.

MAb isotypes:
IgG1 for MAb 3C7
IgG2a for MAb 52G1

Applications:
Detection of IgG2 and antibodies of IgG2 subclass in ELISA.

Purification:
Chromatography on protein A Sepharose

PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1 % sodium azide (NaN3)
