Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with IgE from myelomatous human serum (MAbs 4F4, 5D4, E411, XTE4, BE5, 4G7, 4H10) or whole human IgE conjugated with hsp70 (MAb IEF6) .

Specificity:
MAb E411 class specific for human IgE, Fc-region specific
MAb 4F4 - IgE Cε3-domain specific
MAb 5D4 - IgE Cε2-domain specific
MAb XTE4 - epsilon chain specific

MAb isotypes:
IgG for MAbs BE5, 4G7 and 4H10
IgG1 for MAb XTE4 and IEF6
IgG2a for MAbs 4F4, 5D4 and E411

Applications:
Detection of total IgE level and IgE antibodies in ELISA.
Recommended pairs (coating - conjugate): 5D4 – 4F4, 4G7– BE5, IEF6 – 4F4.
MAb E411 can be used for coating.
MAb 4F4 can be used for IgE purification by affinity chromatography.
MAb XTE4 can be used in Western blotting.

Purification:
MAbs 4F4, 5D4, E411, BE5, 4G7 and 4H10 by chromatography on protein A Sepharose
MAb XTE4 by ion exchange chromatography

Presentation:
MAbs 4F4, 5D4, E411, BE5, 4G7, 4H10 and IEF6 in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1 % sodium azide (NaN3)
MAb IEF6 by chromatography on protein G Sepharose
XTE4 in 0.15 M NaCl, 10 mM Tris, pH 7.5, 0.05 % sodium azide (NaN3)

Contains sodium azide (0.05-0.1 %) as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.
