Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with IgA from human colostrum.
Specificity:
MAb 3B7 - IgA Fc region
MAb 1H9 - IgA Fc region
MAb 5D8 - secretory IgA
MAb A909 - pan IgA
MAbs AS2 and AA5 - secretory IgA
MAb AD3 - Alpha chain of IgA1 and IgA2
MAb isotypes:
IgG1 for MAbs 3B7, 5D8, A909, AS2 and AD3
IgG2a for MAb 20G11
IgG2b for MAbs 1H9 and AA5
Applications:
Recommended pairs for the detection of total IgA (pan IgA) (coating - conjugate):
3B7 - 1H9, A909 - 1H9, 3B7 - A909.
Recommended pair for the detection of secretory IgA (coating - conjugate): 5D8 - 1H9.
MAbs 3B7 and 5D8 can be used in immunodiffusion and passive haemagglutination.
MAb AS2 is working in Western blotting.
