Hybridoma clone has been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with purified HSV from strain BH.
Specificity:
HSV, type 2
MAb reacts with 56-64 kD band corresponding to glycoprotein D band in immunoblotting of purified HSV under reduced conditions and with 120-140 kD band in immunoblotting of HSV-infected Vero cells lysates under non-reduced conditions.
