Source:
Saccharomyces cerevisiae, containing plasmid pCGA7.

Purification:
Purification is conducted from broken yeast cells by following scheme: clarification, microfiltration, ultrafiltration, adsorption chromatography, ion-exchange chromatography, ultracentrifugation, sterile filtration.

Presentation:
0.05 M phosphate, 0.2 M NaCl, pH 7.2.

Analysis:
Purity > 98 % (SDS-PAGE).
Each lot is tested for protein content (Lowry method), lipid content (Total lipid), purity (SDS-PAGE), carbohydrate content (Anthrone method), antigen content (ELISA).

Immunological activity:
Tested in ELISA with anti-HBsAg antibodies.
