Source:
Pooled normal human serum. Blood samples from donors were tested and found to be negative for HBsAg, HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies, and HCV.

Application:
Cystatin C free serum can be used as a matrix for standard and calibrator preparation.

Analysis:
According to ELISA testing Cystatin C free serum contains less than 0.4 ng/ml of Cystatin C.

Purification:
Immunoaffinity chromatography of pooled normal human serum.
Gel for affinity column was prepared by coupling anti-Cystatin C monoclonal antibodies with BrCN-activated Sepharose CL 4B.

Presentation:
Frozen liquid.
