Source:
Pooled normal human serum. Blood samples from donors were tested and found to be negative for HBsAg, HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies, and HCV.
Application:
CRP free serum can be used for preparation of CRP standards and calibrators.
Analysis:
According to ELISA testing CRP free serum contains less than 0.02 µg/ml of human CRP.
Purification:
Immunoaffinity chromatography of pooled normal human serum.
Gel for affinity column was prepared by coupling anti-CRP monoclonal antibodies with BrCN-activated Sepharose CL 4B.
Presentation:
Frozen liquid.
