Source:
Human milk.
Blood sample from the donor was tested and found negative for HBsAg, HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies, and HCV.
Applications:
Calibrator in immunoassays, in vitro studies.
Purification:
High-speed centrifugation, salt precipitation and delipidization.
Presentation:
Solution in 1 M NaCl, 1 % Triton X 100, containing 0.1 % of sodium azide as preservative.
Storage:
Short-term storage (< 12 months) at + 4 °C.
Long-term storage at - 20 °C.
Material safety note:
Contains sodium azide (0.1 %) as preservative. Although the amount of sodium azide is very small appropriate care must be taken when handling this product.
