Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with purified human alpha-fetoprotein.
Specificity:
MAbs react with different determinants of human alpha-fetoprotein.
MAbs do not cross-react with human albumin.
MAb isotypes:
IgG1 for MAb 5H7 and XA2
IgG2a for MAb 4A3
Applications:
We recommend the following pair in sandwich immunoassay (coating - conjugate): 4A3 - 5H7
Purification:
MAbs 5H7 and 4A3 are purified by chromatography on protein A Sepharose
MAb XA2 is purified by ion exchange chromatography
Presentation:
MAbs 5H7 and 4A3 in PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1 % sodium azide (NaN3)
MAb XA2 in 0.15 M NaCl, 10 mM Tris, pH 7.5, 0.05 % sodium azide (NaN3)
