Soluble transferrin receptor

Source:
Human plasma.
Plasma sample from donors was tested and found negative for HBsAg, HIV-1 and 2 antibodies, HCV antibodies, and syphilis.
Applications:
Soluble transferrin receptor is used as a marker of iron deficiency anemia to differentiate it from anemia of chronic disease.
Analysis:
Purity > 95 % (SDS-PAGE).
Concentration has been determined using Lowry method (Sigma).
Immunological identity confirmed by reaction with monoclonal antibodies specific to human soluble transferrin receptor.
Presentation:
Lyophilized from 10 mM Tris-HCl, 0.15 M NaCl, 5 % mannitol, 0.1% CHAPS
Product is recommended to reconstitute with deionized water.
