Monoclonal mouse anti-human S-100 protein

MAbs:
8B10, 6G1, 3B10, 4B3
Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with human brain S-100 protein.
Specificity:
MAbs 8B10, 6G1 and 4B3 are specific to S-100 beta-beta and S-100 alpha-beta.
MAb 3B10 is specific to S-100 alpha-beta.
MAb isotypes:
IgG1 for MAbs 8B10 and 6G1
IgG2a for MAbs 3B10 and 4B3
Applications:
S-100 immunoassay and immunoaffinity purification (except 4B3).
All MAbs are working in Western blotting.
Recommended pairs for sandwich immunoassay (coating - conjugate):
8B10 - 6G1
3B10 - 6G1
MAbs 8B10, 3B10 and especially 6G1 are sensitive to EDTA or other bivalent-binding agents. Better performance can be obtained in presence of 5 mM CaCl2 in the assay buffers.
