Human cardiac troponin T adult isoform, human cardiac troponin T isoform #6 or TnT3
Source:
Expressed in E. coli
Protein sequence:
Product of gene TNNT2; 288 a.a.r.
Recombinant human cardiac TnT contains additional methionine residue at the N-terminus (in comparison with native protein expressed in cardiomyocytes).
For full sequence, see printable PDF-file.
Application:
Calibrator or standard in immunoassays, immunogen for antisera production, mass cTnT standard

Purity > 95 % (SDS-PAGE)
Concentration is determined spectrophotometrically, abs 0.1% (1 g/L) - 0.490 (measured at 280 nm)
Immunological activity:
Immunoreactivity is confirmed by reaction with several monoclonal antibodies specific to different epitopes of human cardiac TnT isoform
Purification:
Immunoaffinity purification followed by ion-exchange chromatography
Presentation:
Lyophilized from 0.01 M HCl
Reconstitution:
Reconstitute with Tris/urea buffer (20 mM Tris pH 7.5, 7 M urea, 5 mM EDTA, 15 mM β-mercaptoethanol.
