Source:
Human brain.
Blood sample from the tissue donor was tested and found negative for HBsAg, HCV, HIV-1 and 2 antibodies, and syphilis.

Application:
This product is for research purpose or further manufacture.

Analysis:
Purity > 60 % (SDS-PAGE)

Purification:
Ion-exchange chromatography, gel-filtration and ammonium sulphate fractionation.

Activity:
Determined in 45 mM imidazole, pH 6.8, 45 mM KCl, 1.33 mM Mg₂SO₄, 1 mM 2-PG.

Immunoreactivity:
Does not react with anti-neuron specific enolase in ELISA and Western blotting.

Presentation:
10 mM Tris-HCl, 5 mM Mg₂SO₄, pH 7.5.
