Monoclonal mouse anti-neuron specific enolase (NSE)
Cat.# 4N6
MAbs:
5G10, 5E2, 5A4, 1C1, H11, 2F1
Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with purified NSE from human brain.
Specificity:
Human NSE
MAb isotypes:
IgG2a for MAbs 5E2, 1C1, 5A4, H11 and 2F1
IgG2b for MAb 5G10
Applications:
MAbs 5G10, 5A4 and 5E2 react with 45 kD band corresponding to NSE in immunoblotting of human brain extracts. MAbs may be used for immunohistochemistry on formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded sections. Recommended dilution is 1:100 - 1:300. Optimal dilution must be determined by experimentation.
All MAbs work in ELISA. Recommended pairs for sandwich immunoassay (coating - conjugate):
5G10 - 1C1
5E2 - 1C1
1C1 - 5E2
5A4 - 1C1
H11 - 2F1
Purification:
Chromatography on protein G Sepharose
