Monoclonal mouse anti-human recombinant interferon beta

MAbs:
BB4, BD9, BF3, BG6
Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with human recombinant full-size interferon beta, expressed in E. coli.
Specificity:
MAbs BB4, BD9 and BG6 recognize non-glycosylated (expressed in E. coli) and glycosylated (expressed in CHO) recombinant human interferon beta antigens. MAb BF3 recognizes only non-glycosylated interferon beta. There is no cross-reactivity with human interferon alpha or human interferon gamma.
MAb isotypes:
IgG1 for MAb BF3
IgG2a for MAbs BB4 and BD9
IgG2b for MAb BG6
Applications:
Antibodies are working in ELISA and Western blotting.
MAbs BB4 and BF3 can be used for coating and MAbs BD9 and BG6 can be used as conjugates in sandwich ELISA.
MAbs BD9 and BG6 have neutralizing activity in Western blotting.
