Monoclonal mouse anti-human IgG

Hybridoma clones have been derived from hybridization of Sp2/0 myeloma cells with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunised with IgG from human serum.
Specificity:
Class-specific for human IgG. No allotype restriction. Relatively high affinity.
No cross-reactivity with human IgA, IgM, IgE.
MAbs 5E3, 5A9, 3D3 and CH1 are Fc-region specific.
MAb 2A11 is Fab-region specific
MAb isotypes:
IgG for MAbs 5E3 and 5A9
IgG1 for MAb CH1
IgG2b for MAb 2A11
IgG2a for MAb 3D3
Applications:
Detection of specific IgG antibodies and total IgG level.
Recommended pair for sandwich ELISA: 5E3 – 3D3

Chromatography on protein G Sepharose
