Human brain
Blood sample from the tissue donor was tested and found negative for HbsAg, HIV-1 and HIV-2 antibodies, HCV, and syphilis.

Analysis:
Purity > 90 % (SDS-PAGE). GFAP preparations are represented by several 43-49 kDa protein bands. The major two bands appear in the region of 46 kDa.

Purification:
Two-staged tissue extraction, hydroxyapatite chromatography.

Immunological activity:
Verified in ELISA using anti-GFAP antibodies.

Presentation:
Lyophilised from 16 mM NaHCO3, pH 8.5 
Product is recommended to reconstitute with distilled water.
