Hybridoma clone has been derived from hybridization of X63.653 myeloma with spleen cells of Balb/c mice immunized with normal human blood lymphocytes.
Antigen distribution:
CD4 is present on 39 +/- 5 % of normal peripheral blood lymphocytes and 90 % of thymocytes. This antigen is found on the T helper cells. The CD4 molecule is the receptor for HIV.
Specificity:
MAb LT4 reacts with CD4 antigen (MW 59 kDa).
MAb LT4 blocks 50 % of the binding of MAbs Leu 3a.
Working dilution 1:4000.
MAb isotype:
IgG1 for MAb LT4
Applications:
Can be used to enumerate T helper/inducer subset in peripheral blood and tissue.

PBS, pH 7.4, 0.1 % sodium azide (NaN3)
